Terms of Service

Welcome to SoriToon. By accessing or using our mobile application and website (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SoriToon you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, and that if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction you have your parent or guardian's permission. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. What the Service does

SoriToon is an AI-powered comic studio. It lets you:

• Turn a written idea into a paneled comic with generated art, dialogue, and a cover
• Choose an art style and tone, or let the app choose
• Continue a comic as a series, keeping its characters, style, and tone consistent
• Read comics as a vertical scroll, with optional narration and translated captions
• Optionally publish comics to the SoriToon community and follow other creators

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, the security of your credentials, all activity under your account, and telling us promptly about unauthorized access.

4. Content

4.1 Your content

You keep ownership of what you create or submit — prompts, attached photos, titles, and the comics generated from them (“User Content”).

4.2 Licence to us

By submitting User Content you grant SoriToon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, store, and display it solely to operate and improve the Service. If you publish a comic to the community, that licence extends to showing it to other users. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users have already saved and for backups pending their normal purge.

4.3 AI-generated content

Comics generated from your inputs are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share them freely. Commercial use requires a separate licence — contact us. AI systems can produce similar output for different users, so we cannot guarantee your generated art is unique.

4.4 Publishing and the community

• Publishing is optional and controlled by your profile visibility. A public profile shares new comics with the community; a private profile keeps them to yourself.
• You must hold the rights to anything you publish, including any name, likeness, or photo you put into a comic.
• We may hide, remove, or restrict published content and accounts for safety, legal, or policy reasons.
• You can report content or creators through the app or the support form. We review reports and act on them.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Create or publish content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that depicts minors inappropriately
• Create content that impersonates a real person or misrepresents your identity
• Use the Service to generate spam, phishing, malware, or deceptive material
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models
• Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or generation quotas
• Share your account credentials with third parties

SoriToon generates dramatic and moody fiction and is aimed at readers 13 and over. Content that is illegal or that violates the rules above may be removed and your account suspended.

6. AI limitations

Generated stories and art are fiction produced by machine-learning systems. They may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or not what you intended, and they are not advice of any kind. Generation is subject to capacity and quota, so we cannot promise a specific turnaround.

7. Subscriptions and payments

SoriToon is free to start, with an optional paid subscription (“SoriToon+”) that raises creation limits and unlocks additional styles.

• Prices, trial length, and billing period are shown in the app before you purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and are billed through the App Store or Google Play under their terms.
• Cancel any time through your Apple or Google account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we must act on for legal or safety reasons.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost content, beyond what the law requires.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
